How it works

  1. Spot it, snap it

    See litter? Tap the camera on the map and photograph what you picked up.

  2. Log what you found

    Cans, butts, bottles, wrappers and more: 20 litter types, and where you found them.

  3. Earn XP

    XP lands straight away. Unlock buddies, hats, held props and medals as you go.

  4. Hold your suburb

    The player with the most cleanups controls the suburb. Out-clean the champion to take it.

The map: clean up litter and earn XP. Suburbs on the map, shaded by who controls them. Your territory: every suburb you hold. A wombat buddy in 3D, with its bond level. The store: native buddies to unlock with XP. Your ranger, with free skin tones and hair colours. The daily quiz on litter and nature. Your impact: pieces collected by material.

Privacy first

  • Your exact location is never stored. It is coarsened to about 100 metres before anything is saved.
  • Photos are re-encoded on arrival, which strips the location your phone embeds. They are never shown to other players.
  • No real name, email or phone number needed.
  • Delete your account and everything in it, any time, from Settings.

Safety built in

  • Checks the weather before you head out, and warns about wind, storms and heat.
  • Needles, chemicals and broken glass earn no XP. The app says don't touch them, and to report them instead.
  • Under 16? Clean up with an adult.
